lyrics
Could never learn
Not for the day, not for the week
Behind the glass, I’m never free
Never free, never free, never free, never free
Don’t forget you fractured me
Who will see the pieces
Losing myself, I’m losing the light
I’m losing myself, I’m losing the light
I’m never free, never free
I’m losing myself
And you, hang over me
Watch me when you,
need to do what you please
Swallow me whole, and,
Hang over me, don’t you forget you
Taught me how to scream, so quietly
You hang over me, swallow me whole
Could never learn
Not for the day, not for the week
Behind the glass, I’m never free
Never free, never free, never free, never free
I’m never free, never free
I’m losing myself
And you, hang over me
Watch me when you,
need to do what you please
Swallow me whole, and,
Hang over me, don’t you forget you
Taught me how to scream, so quietly
You hang over me, swallow me whole
Hang over me, hang over me, hang over me,
Swallow me whole, and don’t you forget you,
so quietly, you hang over me
Hang over me, hang over me, hang over me

Social Station is a post-punk/dark wave artist based in Washington DC. With influences ranging from new wave and post-punk to jangle and dream pop, they forge an original haunting but accessible sound.
It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
